Welcome to our Music Ministry

Darla Sewell- Music Director Psalm 66:4 - ".. All the earth bows down to You; they sing praise to You, they sing praise to Your Name." Selah  I am extremely blessed to have such a talented group of people in our Praise Team. God has given me, as well as the rest of the Praise Team, an awesome gift of music. My greatest joy comes when we gather in unity to celebrate and worship our risen Savior, Jesus Christ. He inhabits the praises of His people, and that's what we love to do -- Praise Him! "My Testimony" - Darla Sewell At the early age of three, I knew music would be a part of my life. I have had the opportunity to sing backup on several projects, recorded jingles for a Christian Radio Station and travel with a singing group that traveled the west coast of the United States into Canada.  In later years, I went into secular music which took me to many places I never would have imagined. Thinking I was rising to the top, to only realize one day when I woke up from a fog, that it took me to the very bottom - to the point of losing my voice and turning my back on my family. In March 2002, at a Women's Conference in Visalia, CA, I rededicated my life to God and told him right then that my life was His. I told Him that if I never sang again, I would still serve him, because I cannot live without Him in my life. My relationship with my family began healing and little by little my voice started coming back.  God has not only restored my life, voice and my song, but has given me Joy, Peace, and Love that I never had before! God is Awesome! Today and for always, I only want to sing for Him! "He is the Lover of my soul!"

(Traditional, Contemporary, Gospel, Southern Gospel, Praise and Worship) ·  Most Important! - To stay focused on the One who gave us the music!   The music ministry of Victory Tabernacle endeavors to praise and glorify Jesus in every way.  The Praise and Worship Team sets the atmosphere for the worship service.  Our goal is to guide the congregation with musical expression, and join with the Pastors in leading the people into the presence of God.
